Pedalling for Purpose: The TAM cycle team take on Brussels to Amsterdam

On Thursday 18th July, our TAM cycle team including James P, James B, Olivia G, Olivia P, Dan and Francis, will be joined by 65 other cyclists from across the wealth and asset management community to embark on a 3-day, 340km cycle from Brussels to Amsterdam for the TAM Charity Ride.

This year, our riders are striving to raise £70,000 for three wonderful charities - Elizabeth’s Smile, Ruth Strauss Foundation, and Winston’s Wish. All three causes exist to help the millions of children who lose a parent each year, by empowering them to address grief and build resilience, so that it can be managed constructively at different ages and stages of their grief journey.

Unaddressed grief can lead to a lifetime of complications, but it doesn’t have to be this way. Our riders are taking on this challenge because they passionately believe that grief does not have to ruin a child’s life. Alongside raising vital funds to support grieving children, the riders are also cycling to honour the legacy of Nick Hungerford, founder of investment platform Nutmeg and Elizabeth’s Smile, named after his daughter. The event falls on the one-year anniversary of Nick’s passing and we are proud to ride in his memory.

If you would like to support our TAM cycle team and are in a position to help them reach their fundraising target, please visit their team page below.

Huge thanks to the cyclists joining us for this year’s ride, and to our generous sponsors: Amber River, Fundpath, Janus Henderson, Portfolio Adviser, Waverton Investment Management and Wellington Management.

And of course, to every single person who donates to this incredibly important cause – we are so grateful for your support.
