We are delighted to tell you that our investment team successfully navigated 2023's incredibly volatile financial markets and achieved positive returns for our clients' investment portfolios. This means that we were able to donate almost £33,000 to a wide range of local and international causes via You Give We Give, which takes the total raised by the initiative to over £205,000!
 

But the good news doesn't stop there. We hosted several fundraising events in 2023, including the Waterloo to Waterloo bike ride, and we became a proud member of the Amber River Foundation, benefitting from their generous support for TAM's 2023 charity partner The ClementJames Centre. Therefore at year end, the grand total raised via our combined charitable efforts amounts to an incredible £340,000!

We are extremely proud of this achievement but could not have done it without our clients, advisers, partners and fundraisers - so a huge, heartfelt thank you to every individual who has helped us reach this milestone. 
 

If you are not familiar with You Give We Give, it is our client-led initiative that provides direct TAM GIA and ISA investors with the opportunity to donate up to 20% of their annual portfolio gain to a charity entirely of their choice. TAM will match the donation with an equal percentage form our annual fee, and advisers can also support by donating an equal percentage from their ongoing fee. To demonstrate our commitment to the initiative, if in any year the client does not make a profit, TAM will still donate from our fees.

We have created a short animation and simple one-pager to outline the benefits of You Give We Give in more detail, both of which can be found on our website below, along with a short application form for interested clients.

We are thrilled with the positive impact we have had to date and look forward to continuing to give back in 2024, both via You Give We Give and the Amber River Foundation, and by tackling a range of new fundraising challenges - details of which we will share with you very soon.
