Just one week to go until we take on the National Three Peaks Challenge!
Next Friday the 7th of June, our #TAMThreePeaks team including Stephanie, Izabela, Dan, James B, Olivia G and Olivia P will attempt to climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. A total walking distance of 23 miles and total ascent of 3,408 metres... in just 24 hours!
1) Ben Nevis, Scotland - 10 miles / 1,345 metres
2) Scafell Pike, England - 6 miles / 978 metres
3) Snowdon, Wales - 7 miles / 1,085 metres
The team have followed a strict training schedule these past few months but it's all for a cause we are incredibly passionate about. We are doing this for The Childhood Trust, the charity dedicated to alleviating the impact of poverty for children in London.
The cost-of-living crisis is having a devastating impact on our most vulnerable children. They are now facing life-changing, life-limiting deep poverty rather than significant hardship. Of the 800,000 children in London living in poverty, over 40% are regularly missing meals and going hungry - this simply must stop.
We are taking on this challenge because we fervently believe that poverty does not have to ruin a child's life. We are striving to raise £6,000 to help The Childhood Trust carry out their vital work providing London's most disadvantaged children with a healthy, resilient, safe, and confident childhood, so that they are well prepared for life and therefore break the vicious cycle of poverty.
To everyone who has already donated to our cause - thank you so much.

A special shout out to Merlyn Wealth Management for kitting us out for the climb, and to our very own CEO Lester Petch for stepping up as our trusted driver for the challenge - a feat in itself involving 462 miles on the road.
The one week countdown begins!
